ReMARKable Epoxy Resin Safety

Creativity starts with knowing your materials.

ReMARKable Premium Epoxy Resin for Art is a two-part system consisting of Part A Resin and Part B Hardener. Before beginning any project, read the labels on both components completely and follow all warnings, precautions and instructions.

The information below summarizes the manufacturer-approved ReMARKable Resin labels. Always keep the original labeled containers available while working.

Before You Begin

Prepare your workspace and protective equipment before opening either container.

Keep ReMARKable Resin out of reach of children. Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling the product. Avoid releasing either component into the environment.

Part A and Part B have different hazard classifications. Never assume that precautions listed for one component apply identically to the other. Read both labels before use.

Personal Protective Equipment

When handling Part A Resin, the approved label directs users to wear protective gloves and eye protection.

When handling Part B Hardener, wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection.

Part A should not be inhaled as fumes, vapors or mists. Wash thoroughly after handling either component and remove contaminated clothing as directed on the product label.

For Part B, immediately rinse with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, continue rinsing and get medical help.

Part B is classified as causing serious eye damage, so treat eye exposure seriously.

If Part B Is Swallowed

Part B is harmful if swallowed.

If swallowed, get medical help and rinse the mouth as directed by the approved label.

Mixing and Handling

Follow the supplied directions rather than improvising the mixing process.

Warm the unopened Part A and Part B containers in hot water for approximately 10 minutes.

Measure equal amounts of Part A and Part B by volume into a clean mixing container.

Using a clean mixing stick, preferably silicone, gently mix for 3 minutes. Avoid whipping air into the mixture.

Immediately pour or drizzle the mixed resin onto the surface and spread evenly using a silicone spreading tool.

ReMARKable Resin has an approximate 45-minute pot life and 18–24-hour dry time, based on an ambient temperature of 70°F (21°C).
